Rachel is a Principal at NPAG, working closely with her team and clients to design and execute thoughtful, tailored leadership searches. She is particularly passionate about and experienced in economic and community development work, as well as designing inclusive and conscientious change management processes, particularly through times of growth and scaling. Her career journey prior to NPAG includes managing a multi-state lending team at a national CDFI during a time of explosive growth, organizing students and community members around immigration and mass incarceration in grad school, pastoring at a multi-ethnic church on the northside of Chicago, serving with Americorps as a legal services paralegal in her hometown of Jamestown, NY, and working several summers as a camp Program Director during undergrad.

Rachel received her BA in History from Allegheny College, with minors in Political Science and Spanish, a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University, and a Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary.

Her portfolio at NPAG has encompassed a wide variety of types of organizations and roles, from small community-based nonprofits to large philanthropic organizations, and everything in between. Recent clients include BoardSource, Council on Foundations, the Brigid Alliance, Abortion Coalition for Telemedicine, the Klarman Family Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, ACLU of New-Mexico, ACLU of Kansas, Assets Under Movement (formerly the Amalgamated Foundation), Flint Institute of Arts, Project Venture, and Western Center on Law and Poverty. Although she’s led searches ranging from the C-Suite to mid-level programs and Ops roles, she has developed a specialty in leading searches for finance and investment leaders who are aligned with her passion for using capital as a force for good.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys exploring New England with her husband, Taylor, and their tiny dog, Cotton.
