About Reproductive Freedom Alliance
The Reproductive Freedom Alliance (RFA) is a nonpartisan coalition of Governors committed to protecting and expanding reproductive freedom. The Alliance supports Governors and their staff in proactively coordinating and developing strategies to strengthen reproductive rights and health care access across Alliance states. RFA is a fiscally sponsored non-profit project of Global Impact and is supported by the Governors Action Alliance (GovAct).

The Opportunity
The Policy Associate supports the Policy Director in developing and coordinating public policy work for RFA. This includes researching state reproductive health and rights policy, creating policy resources, and supporting policy workshops and convenings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Policy Director, research and draft memos, briefs, and other materials related to state reproductive health policy, with a focus on contraception.
Collaborate with RFA staff in developing convenings and workshops for RFA members and external partners
Track state policy on contraception and other issues across the country.
Work with the Policy Director and RFA staff to develop and update accessible policy resources and tools, and develop and refine processes for sharing information about pending issues.
Travel to sites of events and workshops as needed.

The role is a full-time, term-limited 12-month role with the potential to extend beyond the term limit.
